SEAFOOD CAPITAL INVESTMENT SCHEME 2020

In 2020, Island Seafoods Ltd. participated in the Capital Seafood Investment Scheme which is supported by Bord Iascaigh Mhara and the European Union. The scheme aims to encourage innovation, enhance scale and competitiveness in industry, and provide capital investment in new technologies. The Scheme has helped Island Seafoods purchase a wind turbine which will generate electricity to be used by the company offsetting a percentage of their carbon foot print and will also reduce carbon emissions within the company while improving competitiveness.
